Ph.D in terrestrial vertebrate ecology or related field.Expressed interest or experience in exploring the behavioural and population ecology of ground-dwelling squirrels or related rodents, experience and expertise in biostatistical analysis, experience in conducting field
research, publication record. Eligibility to work in Canada.
Responsibilities:
A motivated post-doctoral fellow with strong biostatistical skills and an ability to work independently is sought to undertake publishable analyses of an existing 22-year data set on phenology, emographics, kinship, social and spatial relationships, and morphology of Richardsons ground squirrels.The successful candidate will have an opportunity to collect additional data to extend or supplement the existing data set.Information on research that has been conducted on Richardsons ground squirrels can be found at: http://research.uleth.ca/rgs
